Led by Maître Linda Kangamina Alphonsine, our team of lawyers brings rigour and hands-on experience of Congolese and OHADA law to the service of businesses, investors, institutions and individuals.
The Team
The firm draws on carefully selected associates and partners, bringing to every matter the legal rigour and personal attention that define Kangamina Law Firm's reputation.
Founder of the firm, Maître Linda Kangamina Alphonsine holds a Bachelor's degree in Law, specialising in Economic and Social Law, from the University of Kinshasa (UNIKIN). Since 2016, she has built substantial hands-on experience serving businesses, investors and institutions, before founding Kangamina Law Firm to bring that support to a more personal and exacting level.
Her area of predilection is aviation and maritime law. She built a substantial working relationship with the Régie des Voies Aériennes (RVA) and the Civil Aviation Authority (AAC), which sharpened her expertise and confirmed her command of the sector: she has handled dozens of matters in the aviation field and supported companies in regularising their filings with the AAC, alongside a well-established practice in business law, public law and labour law.
A member of the International Association of Lawyers (UIA) and of the ASBL Défense de la Défense, she places listening, confidentiality and rigour at the heart of every matter, driven by one conviction: to offer every client direct, pragmatic support equal to their interests.
An expert legal counsel in business law, Francis Dubois Kankolongo Kalala has more than eighteen years of experience in the banking, insurance and energy sectors, across the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Republic of Congo. A specialist in OHADA law, he also advises on regulatory compliance (AML/CFT) and on legal issues arising from new technologies.
He has held legal, compliance and risk management leadership roles within financial and insurance institutions in the DRC and the Republic of Congo — including Head of Legal Department at SOTRAB (Brazzaville) and at CONGO Inter Assurance, as well as Tax & Legal Counsel at Cabinet OKOKO et Associés in Kinshasa. He is certified in anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing (ERSUMA, Benin), as well as in OHADA arbitration and mediation practice.
A graduate in Law, specialising in Civil and Judicial Law, from the University of Kinshasa, Maître Patrick Katebe Kaisa began his career as a legal assistant in specialised firms, particularly in mining law, before joining the Kinshasa/Gombe Bar in 2016.
He practises notably in mining law, debt recovery, administrative litigation and the law of obligations. He also served as a mining and quarry agent from 2018 to 2024, and regularly updates his skills, particularly in data protection and regulatory compliance.
Holder of a postgraduate degree (DEA/DES) in Law from the University of Kinshasa, Maître Jeff Kasikila Mwema has practised as an attorney since 2013.
A corporate lawyer, he advises local and international clients on their regulatory and contractual matters, with particular expertise in the mining, energy and telecommunications sectors, as well as in project financing, mergers and acquisitions, and investment taxation.
A law graduate from the University of Kinshasa, Maître Reagan Kikwa Kasala is an attorney at the Kwilu Bar. He practises in OHADA business law, mining law, maritime law and investment law, as well as tax, real estate and banking law.
An expert in drafting commercial contracts, project financing agreements and real estate transactions, he puts this expertise at the service of the firm's clients in these areas.
A graduate in Economic and Social Law from the University of Kinshasa, Maître Gradie Mavambu Mutshimakola has been an attorney at the Kinshasa/Matete Bar since 2022. She provides legal advice and client representation, as well as drafting legal instruments and following up on judicial and extrajudicial proceedings.
Her training was enriched by internships at a law firm in Kinshasa/Gombe and at the Public Prosecutor's Office attached to the Kinshasa/Gombe High Court, as well as a certificate in tax law from RIFAV. She has a particular interest in tax law and corporate law, with a rigorous approach to litigation management, and follows closely the uses of artificial intelligence in legal practice.
